Based in Porto, Portugal, Outside Academy has been delivering certified safety and technical training for wind turbine technicians since 2012. Its renovated training center features modern indoor facilities and simulators that replicate real-life industrial and wind turbine scenarios.

Outside Academy joined the Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) Group in February 2024 — a partnership that strengthens our shared mission to raise global standards of safety, technical quality, and workforce development in wind energy.

By acquiring a majority stake in Outside Academy, MWS gains a dedicated training partner that shares our commitment to excellence, ensuring every technician develops the skills, mindset, and confidence to work safely and deliver consistent results in the field.

MWS has worked closely with OA to develop and refine several Global Wind Organization (GWO) courses, particularly the Blade Repair Training (BRT) module, which reflects real MWS field techniques and best practices.

By bringing Outside Academy into the MWS Group, we ensure:
